Fast 8 cast post open letter to fans as production wraps, trailer not due until December
The cast of Fast 8 have posted an open letter to fans as production on the movie comes to an end.
As well as praising cast new and old and paying tribute to the departed Paul Walker, the post also reveals that "We'll be back in December with your first look at what we've created for you", indicating that fans will have to wait until then to see a full trailer.

The new movie, which sees Vin Diesel will return to star as Dominic Toretto along with Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez and Jason Statham all reprising their roles, will be largely set in New York. It is due in UK cinemas on April 14th in 2017 and will be directed by F. Gary Gray, the man responsible for Straight Outta Compton.
Theron will be teaming up with Jason Statham, who is expected to return to reprise his role as Deckard Shaw, the key villain in Fast 7. They will join Kristofer Hivju, who plays Tormund Giantsbane on HBO's hit fantasy show Game Of Thrones, he has signed up to play a henchman for the film's villain.
Earlier this year Vin Diesel confirmed that release date for the ninth and 10th instalments of the Fast and Furious are already set. Fast 9 will be in cinemas on April 19th in 2019 and Fast 10 on April 2nd in 2021.
