Fast and Furious 9 release date pushed back
The release date for the ninth instalment of Fast and Furious has been delayed.
The film, which had been due in cinemas on April 10th in 2020, but has now been put back to May 22nd in the same year.
It is thought that the delay is in part down to the decision to move the 25th James Bond movie from February 14th in 2020 to April 8th.
Jordana Brewster is expected to return to star in the franchise's ninth instalment, but Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Jason Statham, who will next be seen in spin-off Hobbs and Shaw,
won't be part of the new film.
Production on the new film, which is the follow-up to 2017's Fast 8, is expected to begin in the spring.
