Fast & Furious 7 passes Frozen as fifth highest grossing film of all time
Riding on the back of fantastic critical reviews and word of mouth, the Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson movie Fast & Furious 7 has now eclipsed Frozen to become the fifth highest grossing film in cinematic history with a global box office taking of more than $1.32bn.
Only a handful of films have earned more over the years - Avatar, Titanic, Marvel’s The Avengers and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Forecaster predict that the film’s box office could expand further, given that it’s still on cinematic release in many territories across the world.
It doesn’t look like the Furious juggernaut will stop anytime soon either, as Vin Diesel recently confirmed that Universal Pictures is targeting a date of April 14th 2017 for the release of the eighth film in the franchise.
