Fifty Shades Of Grey sequels to be shot back to back
Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, the sequels to Fifty Shades Of Grey, will shoot back to back next year.
The sequels are to be directed by House Of Cards director James Foley and have scripts from Niall Leonard, husband of the series's creator E. L. James.
Leonard is an experienced TV writer who has written episodes of Monarch of the Glen, Wire in the Blood and Wild at Heart among other things. He takes over writing duties from Kelly Marcel.
According to Variety, production on the sequels will begin early next year and both films will be in the can before the year is out. Stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson will return to reprise their roles as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
Fifty Shades Darker is due to hit cinemas in February 2017, with Fifty Shades Freed following in February 2018.
