First look at sequel to Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle unveiled

A first look at the sequel to Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle has been unveiled. You can see it below:

Expectations for the 2017 reboot of the beloved family adventure Jumanji were quite low, but it turned out to be a riotous ride and scored almost a billion dollars in box office receipts.

The reboot followed four high school students in detention who are told to clean out the basement of the school and they find an old video game console, which features the game Jumanji.

The game asks that you pick a character and you are then transported to a jungle, where your body takes on the form of the player.

Stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and Jack Black all return for the sequel and are shown back in action in the new image.

They will be joined by Ser'Darius Blain, Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman and Morgan Turner, who all appeared at the beginning of the movie as the real-life versions of the characters.

Joining the cast for the sequel are Danny DeVito, Danny Glover and Crazy Rich Asians star Awkwafina.

Jake Kasdan will direct the sequel, which is due in cinemas on December 13th this year. It is as yet untitled.
