First look at Zac Efron as notorious serial killer Ted Bundy unveiled
A first look at Zac Efron as serial killer Ted Bundy in a new biopic has been unveiled and you can it below:
Efron is currently shooting the movie, which is titled Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.
Bundy is one of the most notorious serial killers in history. During the early 1970s, he murdered numerous girls and young women in various states in America, eventually confessing to killing 30 of them just before his execution, though it's thought the actual number of victims is much higher than that.
The movie will be directed by Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker Joe Berlinger, who worked on the acclaimed Paradise Lost, the trio of documentaries about the plight of the West Memphis Three. Michael Werwie, writer of Lost Girls, has provided the script.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile will be told from the perspective of Elizabeth Kloepfer, Bundy's longtime girlfriend, who spent years denying the accusations against Bundy but ultimately turned him into the police.
Lily Collins will play Kloepfer, while John Malkovich will also star as Judge Edward Cowart, who presided over Bundy's murder trial in 1979 and sentenced him to death.
