Game Of Thrones adds nine new cast members, including Jonathan Pryce
HBO has announced nine new cast members for its hit fantasy series Game Of Thrones, including one-time James Bond villain and Pirates Of The Caribbean star Jonathan Pryce.
The announcement came at this weekend's Comic-Con in San Diego, with the broadcaster announcing a slew of new additions to the cast for the forthcoming fifth series.
As well as Pryce, Alexander Siddig, who's starred in 24, and Oscar nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes will join the cast, as will Nell Tiger Free, Toby Sebastian, DeObia Oparei, Enzo Cilenti, Silk's Jessica Henwick and Rosabell Laurenti Sellers. You can see a video announcing the new cast members below.
Pryce will take the role of the High Sparrow while Castle-Hughes will appear as Obara Sand, with Siddig as Doran Martell and Sebastian as Trystane Martell. Tiger Free is Myrcella Baratheon, Oparei is Areo Hotah, Cilenti will be Yezzen, Henwick is Nymeria Sand and Laurenti Sellers is Tyene Sand.
Season five of the show will premiere in April next year and will film in the second half of this year.
