Game of Thrones director quits Wonder Woman movie
Michelle MacLaren, whose name TV fans will recognise from the credits of shows such as Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead has withdrawn from the Wonder Woman film.
A statement issued by Warner Brothers said that “Given creative differences, Warner Bros. and Michelle MacLaren have decided not to move forward with plans to develop and direct Wonder Woman together.”
Israeli actress Gal Gadot will take the leading role in the film and her first appearance in the part will come in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in April of next year before her own film follows in June 2016 – although, as confirmed by MacLaren last December, the film didn’t yet have a completed script.
