Game Of Thrones' Emilia Clarke and The Hunger Games' Sam Claflin to star in new romantic comedy Me Before You
Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin, best known for his role in The Hunger Games, are in advanced talks to star in a new romantic comedy named Me Before You.
The film is a new adaptation of JoJo Moyes' novel and tells the story of Lou, a small-town girl who moves from dead-end job to dead-end job, and Will, a successful man who suddenly finds himself wheelchair-bound after an accident.
Will then hires Lou as his caretaker for six months, and she becomes determined to prove to him life is worth living. They head for a series of adventures together, which changes each of them.
The comedy will be written by (500) Days of Summer's Scott Neustadter and Michael H Weber, along with author Moyes, who has completed the first draft, reports Deadline.com.
Clarke has just completed filming her part in Terminator: Genisys, where she will play Sarah Connor, while Claflin will next be seen on screen in The Riot Club.
