Get a first look at Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland in new blockbuster Chaos Walking
A first look at Daisy Ridley and Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland in the new big-budget adaptation of Chaos Walking has been unveiled and you can see it below:
The movie, which is being directed by American Made and Edge Of Tomorrow's Doug Liman, is an adaptation of Patrick Ness's bestselling novel The Knife Of Never Letting Go.
Chaos Walking is set in a post-apocalyptic world where there are no women and all living creatures can hear each others' thoughts in a stream of images, words, and sounds called Noise.
Holland plays Todd, who has been brought up to believe that a germ that killed all the women and unleashed Noise on the remaining men. After discovering a patch of silence out in the swamp, his surrogate parents immediately tell him that he has to run, leaving him with only a map of New World, a message, and many unanswered questions.
He soon discovers the source of the silence: a girl, named Viola, played by Ridley, together the two go on an unlikely journey.
Also starring in the movie, which has a reported production budget of $125 million, are Mads Mikkelsen, Demián Bichir, Kurt Sutter, Nick Jonas and David Oyelowo.
Chaos Walking is due to be released in cinemas in March of 2019.
