Get a first look at Michael Fassbender in Assassin's Creed
The first photo of Michael Fassbender in hotly anticipated big screen adaptation of Assassin's Creed has been unveiled and you can see it at the top of the page.
In the big budget adaptation, Fassbender will play the role of Callum Lynch, a descendant of the secret Assassins society who is tasked to unlock genetic memories that allow him to relive the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain, memories will prepare him to take on the oppressive Knights Templar in the present day.
He is joined in the movie by Oscar winner Marion Cotillard, Michael Kenneth Williams and Ariane Labed.
Assassin's Creed, which has sold over 91 million copies in its history, will be directed by Snowtown's Justin Kurzel, who is currently finishing work on a new adaptation of William Shakespeare's Macbeth, which also stars both Fassbender and Cotillard.
The film will go into production later this year, with a release date of December 30th in 2016 now confirmed for release.
