Godzilla sequel and Godzilla vs. King Kong pushed back

The sequel to Godzilla and the monster face-off Godzilla Vs King Kong have both been delayed by producers Warner Brothers.

The follow-up to the 2014 monster movie had originally been due to hit cinemas in June of 2018, but it now won't hit screens until March 22nd of 2019.

Godzilla Vs King Kong will be released in 2020 and now has a confirmed release date of May 29th in that year. No reason has been given for either movie's delay.

The showdown with King Kong will be preceded by King Kong reboot Kong: Skull Island, which is to star Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston and will be released in March of 2017.

Godzilla starred Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen and Ken Watanabe and is available to order in hmv's online store by clicking on the icon on the right-hand side of the page.
