Godzilla vs Kong release date brought forward
The release date for Godzilla vs. Kong has been brought forward.
The monster smash-up was due to hit cinemas on May 29th in 2020, but will now arrive nine weeks earlier on March 13th.
The film will serve as both a sequel to Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla: King Of The Monsters.
It will star Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Jessica Henwick, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler and Demián Bichir.
Adam Wingard will direct, working from a script from Terry Rossio.
A synopsis for the film reads as follows: "In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages."
As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever."
Godzilla: King Of Monsters will be in cinemas on May 31st this year.
