Gone Girl and Fargo star Carrie Coon revealed as key Avengers: Infinity War villain
Carrie Coon, best known for her roles in Gone Girl and Fargo, has been revealed as one of the villains on show in Avengers: Infinity War.
The movie features an enormous cast that sees the stars of Doctor Strange, Guardians Of The Galaxy and Ant-Man uniting with the current Avengers line-up for a new outing and the showdown with supervillain Thanos.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the men responsible for the previous two Captain America films, the movie is Marvel's most expensive to date, with it and its sequel expected to cost over $1 billion to produce.
Coon, who starred in The Post earlier this year, voices Proxima Midnight, a member of villain Thanos’ Black Order. She joins Irish actor Tom Vaughn-Lawlor and The Square star Terry Notary, who voice fellow Black Order members Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian respectively.
The Black Order are a group of henchman, working with Thanos to help him on his quest to collect the Infinity Stones for a gauntlet that will allow him to bend reality to his will.
Avengers: Infinity War will be released on April 26th in UK cinemas.
