Goosebumps 2 gets a new title as it goes into production
The title and casting details for the sequel to Goosebumps have been unveiled.
The new take on the classic teenage horror stories was a big hit in 2015 with over $150 million in box office receipts, ensuring a sequel was swiftly ordered.
The second instalment will be titled Goosebumps: Slappy Halloween and is now in production.
There has been a casting overhaul, with The Hangover's Ken Jeong, IT's Jeremy Ray Taylor, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle's Madison Iseman, Manchester by the Sea's Ben O'Brien, and Castle Rock's Caleel Harris now in the cast.
It is still unknown if Jack Black, who starred in the first movie, will return. Ari Sandel, director of The DUFF, who will take charge of the sequel.
Goosebumps: Slappy Halloween will be released into UK cinemas on October 31st.
