Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt set to be cast as the new Indiana Jones?
Parks And Recreation and Guardians Of The Galaxy star Chris Pratt is reportedly in line to take over the iconic role of Indiana Jones, according to reports overnight.
The rights to the legendary explorer are now owned by Disney after they were bought from Paramount in 2013 and the studio are currently developing a new movie.
According to Deadline, Pratt is the man the studio have set their sights on, but with his busy schedule that includes starring in the new remake of classic western The Magnificent Seven alongside Denzel Washington as well as promoting new blockbuster Jurassic World and a comittment to make Guardians Of The Galaxy 2, a deal isn't done yet.
Harrison Ford has starred as Indiana Jones in each of the explorer's four cinmetic outings so far, last appearing in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull back in 2008. He has stated in interviews that he would relish the chance to play the role again.
