Guardians Of The Galaxy star Dave Bautista cast in Bond 24?
Dave Bautista, best known for playing man mountain Drax in this summer's box-office hit Guardians Of The Galaxy, has reportedly been cast in the new James Bond film.
According to Latino Review, Bautista, who made his name as WWE wrestler, has signed on to play a henchman called Hinx in the follow-up to Skyfall.
Earlier this year, it was leaked that the production was seeking "an imposing, extremely physically fit actor... someone very unusual, possibly from a sports background" for the role, criteria that Bautista certainly fulfils.
On Friday (October 10th), news broke that French actress Léa Seydoux, star of Blue Is The Warmest Colour, has also been lined up for a role in the film, which is currently only known as Bond 24.
It was reported earlier this month that Rihanna had also been offered a part in the new Bond film, but those reports remain unconfirmed.
Skyfall director Sam Mendes will return to the director's chair for the next James Bond film, which has a script from John Logan.
The film is set to be Daniel Craig's penultimate outing as Bond, with the actor now only contracted for two more films. The film is currently scheduled to be released on October 23rd in 2015.
