Halloween director and Avengers: Endgame writers to team up for new Cambridge Analytica movie
David Gordon Green, director of hit horror reboot Halloween, is teaming up with Marvel key writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, for a new drama.
According to Deadline, the movie will focus on the story of Cambridge Analytica, the controversial analytics firm at the centre of disinformation campaigns that influenced the last presidential election and the Brexit vote.
The film will centre around Christopher Wylie, the young analyst who illegally corralled personal data of 87 million people from their Facebook profiles, before subsequently blowing the whistle on the whole operation.
Anthony and Joe Russo, who worked with Markus and McFeely on Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, will produce this new movie.
Production on the movie, which is as yet uncast, is set to begin at the start of 2020.
