How To Train Your Dragon 3 pushed back to 2018
The release of How To Train Your Dragon 3 has been delayed until 2018.
The second film in the animated series was released last summer and has raked in almost $600 million at the box office, but Dreamworks Animation have moved it back again after previously announcing it would be delayed until 2017. It will now be in cinemas on June 29th in 2018.
The move comes as the company announced it was looking to lay-off 500 members of staff and move from producing three movies a year down to two.
The company's new release schedule will see Kung Fu Panda 3 and Trolls come out in 2016, and Boss Baby and The Croods 2 hitting cinemas in 2017.
Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Cate Blanchett, T. J. Miller and Kristen Wiig are all set to return to reprise their voice roles in the third instalment of the animated franchise.
