Hugh Grant takes key role in Guy Ritchie's Toff Guys
Hugh Grant has signed up for a key role in Guy Ritchie's new caper Toff Guys.
The film will see Ritchie, who is currently in post-production on a live-action re-telling of Aladdin, directing and produce from a script he wrote with Marn Davies and Ivan Atkinson.
Matthew McConaughey, Kate Beckinsale and Crazy Rich Asians man Henry Golding are already booked to star in the film, which will follow a British drug lord attempting to cash out on his highly profitable empire by selling it off to a dynasty of Oklahoma billionaires.
According to Deadline, Grant will play a character named Fletcher, a British gossip journalist with a reputation of going into people’s lives and undoing them.
Production on the movie, which is billed as a return to Ritchie's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch days, is set to begin later this year.
