The team behind Incredibles 2 open up about making the smash-hit sequel...

It's been 14 years since the release of The Incredibles, the charming animation about a family of superheroes, was first released.

The movie followed the family as they were forced to hide their powers and live a quiet suburban life, a plan which they are forced to ditch when Syndrome, a former fan who now plots to wipe out all superheroes with his killer robot, turns up.

Talk about a sequel began roughly a week after the original was released, but Disney and director Brad Bird have kept us waiting until now for the follow-up.

For the sequel, Bob Parr, a.k.a Mr Incredible, is left to care for baby Jack-Jack while his wife Helen returns to duty saving the world.

It's a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack's emerging superpowers and the emergence of a new villain...

Holly Hunter, Craig T. Nelson, Sarah Vowell, Huck Milner, Samuel L. Jackson, Bob Odenkirk and Catherine Keener are on vocal duty, with Brad Bird returning to the director's chair.

To celebrate the film's release on DVD, we sat down with Bird as well as producers Nicole Paradis Grindle and John Walker to find out making this hugely anticipated sequel...

Incredibles 2 is released on DVD on Monday (November 12th) and is available to pre-order here in our online store...
