Announced on Monday with a 13-second teaser-for-the-teaser, the new trailer offers a first look at Cary Joji Fukanaga's hotly-anticipated entry into James Bond canon, which also seems likely to be Daniel Craig's final appearance in the starring role.
The 25th Bond film has endured something of a troubled journey to the screen and was initially set to be helmed by Danny Boyle, but differences over the direction of the film saw the Trainspotting director depart in August 2018, eventually to be replaced by Fukunaga. A new script was drafted by Bond stalwarts Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, along with Fukunaga himself, and given some extra polish by Fleabag's star and creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright and Christoph Waltz all return to reprise their roles, the latter as Bond's villainous nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld, while the most eye-catching new addition to the cast this time around is Mr. Robot and Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek.
No Time To Die is set to arrive in UK cinemas next year on April 2 2020.
