Jesse Eisenberg and Shia LaBeouf set to play stoners turned arms dealers in new comedy
Jesse Eisenberg and Shia LaBeouf are set to join forces for new comedy Arms & The Dudes, a film about two stoners who wind up as arms dealers.
The film will be directed by Todd Phillips, best known for directing the likes of Road Trip, Old School and each of the films in The Hangover trilogy.
Arms & The Dudes tells the story of two unlikely arms dealers, who somehow get a $300 million contract to supply weapons for Afghanistan. They soon found themselves in danger abroad and in trouble back home because they were completely out of their depth.
LaBeouf will next be seen on screen in Fury, the new war drama that stars Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman and Jon Bernthal. It will be released in the UK on October 24th.
Eisenberg has just finished work on action comedy American Ultra, where he stars alongside Kristen Stewart and Topher Grace. He is now filming the role of Lex Luthor in the hugely anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
