John Malkovich recreates iconic photographs for Sandro Miller exhibition
Actor John Malkovich is to feature in an exhibition by Sandro Miller, in which the photographer recreates a series of iconic photographs using Malkovich as his subject.
Entitled Malkovich Malkovich Malkovich: Homage to Photographic Masters, the exhibition will take place at Chicago's Catherine Edelman Gallery and will run from November 7th to January 31st. The exhibition will see the actor donning a variety of disguises as the pair recreate famous photographs of Alfred Hitchcock, Albert Einstein and Marilyn Monroe, among many others.
As the exhibition's title suggests, the Miller's aim is to pay homage to the photographers who created these iconic images, including the likes of Andy Warhol, Philippe Halsman and Annie Leibowitz. The photos are created entirely using props, make-up and lighting - not to mention Malkovich's considerable acting skills - all of which are painstakingly matched to the originals without the use of Photoshop.
You can find more information about the exhibition on the gallery's website.
