John Travolta teams up with Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst for new stalker drama Moose
John Travolta is to star in a new thriller, written and directed by Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst.
The movie, which is titled Moose, has been written by Durst with Dave Bekerman and is partly based on experiences from his own life.
According to Variety, Moose, which is currently in production in Alabama, sees John Travolta playing the title character, a rabid movie fan obsessed with his favourite celebrity action hero.
As Moose’s obsession grows stronger, his fixation turns from stalking to a desire to destroy the star’s life. It is a story inspired by a real-life fan who stalked Durst a few years ago.
Final Destination star Devon Sawa plays the star, who will go by the name of Hunter Dunbar.
Moose is Durst's third movie as a director, he has previously taken charge of The Education of Charlie Banks, which starred Jesse Eisenberg, and The Longshots, which had Ice Cube leading the way.
