John Wick 4 delayed until 2023

A fourth film in the series, which is led by Keanu Reeves, was confirmed just a few days after the third movie, John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, was released into cinemas.

The fourth instalment of John Wick has been delayed until 2023.

A fourth film in the series, which is led by Keanu Reeves, was confirmed just a few days after the third movie, John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, was released into cinemas.

Initially, it was booked for May 21st in 2021, but a combination of Covid-19 and scheduling delays have led to it being pushed back until March 24th in 2023.

Plot details about the new film are non-existent at the moment, but we'll pick up with John Wick on his knees after the High Table has turned its back on him. It's unlikely he'll stay down for long...

For the new film, singer Rina Sawayama joins the cast, along with Hiroyuki Sanada, Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Shamier Anderson and Scott Adkins.

As well as Reeves, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne and Lance Reddick are back to star. Chad Stahelski directs from a script from Shay Hatten and Michael Finch.
