Johnny Flynn is David Bowie in the first trailer for new biopic Stardust
A first trailer for Stardust, the new biopic of David Bowie, has arrived. Click below to watch it:
The film is set in 1971 and follows Bowie's first visit to the United States in 1971, the trip that inspired the creation of his alter ego Ziggy Stardust.
Jena Malone play Bowie's first wife Angie, while comedian Marc Maron is his record company publicist.
Gabriel Range directs the film, which has been written by Christopher Bell.
The singer's son Duncan Jones has previously confirmed online that he had not been approached about the film and that it will not feature the use of Bowie's back catalogue.
A UK release plan for Stardust has yet to be confirmed.
