Kenneth Branagh's Death On The Nile gets a release date
A release date for Death On The Nile, Kenneth Branagh's follow-up to Murder On The Orient Express, has been confirmed.
The movie will hit cinemas on November 8th in 2019, with Branagh to return as Agatha Christie's magnificently moustached detective Hercule Poirot.
The announcement comes after the success of Murder On The Orient Express, which grossed almost $350 million at the box office. Branagh will direct the sequel once again, with Michael Green returning to supply the screenplay.
The cast for Murder On The Orient Express boasted the likes of Penélope Cruz, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Josh Gad, Derek Jacobi, Leslie Odom Jr., Michael Peña, Michelle Pfeiffer and Daisy Ridley and Branagh is expected to recruit an equally starry line-up for Death On The Nile.
Death On The Nile is set aboard a luxurious cruise liner as it journeys down the Nile, but things quickly turn sour when a newlywed heiress is found murdered on board and Poirot must find the killer.
