Kevin Feige gives update on Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

Kevin Feige has delivered an update on plans for the third instalment of Guardians Of The Galaxy. 

James Gunn, director of both previous instalments, will return to both write and direct the new movie and Feige has given an update on his progress, saying that movie will film in early 2019. 

He told Collider when asked about the status of the movie: "James has delivered a draft and we begin official pre-production on that very, very soon. It’ll be shooting early next year.”

In the same interview, Feige also gave updates about Captain Marvel and Spider-Man sequel Far From Home. He added: "Captain Marvel finishes in about two weeks, Spider-Man starts in about two weeks, and then Guardians 3 will start early next year". 

Gunn himself then confirmed his work, posting a Twitter update, which you can see below:
