Killing Eve and Patrick Melrose are big winners at 2019 TV BAFTAs
Killing Eve and Patrick Melrose were the big winners at last night's (May 12th) BAFTA TV Awards.
The action-comedy won three awards, taking home the gongs for Best Drama Series, Best Actress for Jodie Comer and Best Supporting Actress for Fiona Shaw.
Melrose won two awards, winning Best Mini-Series and Best Actor for star Benedict Cumberbatch.
Other winners included Ben Whishaw, who won Best Supporting Actor for his role in A Very English Scandal, Steve Pemberton, who took home the award for Best Male Comedy Performance for Inside No 9, and Jessica Hynes, who won in the same category for There She Goes.
A League Of Their Own, Killed By My Debt, Would I Lie To You?, Britain's Got Talent, Bodyguard, Succession and Sally4Ever also picked up gongs at the ceremony.
The awards took place last night at the Royal Festival Hall in London and were hosted by Graham Norton.
