Lionsgate Vice Chairman reveals plan for Hunger Games prequels
Lionsgate Vice Chairman Michael Burns has revealed that there are plans for prequels to The Hunger Games.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, speaking at the UBS Global Media and Communications Conference in New York Burns revealed that the series "will live on and on".
He also revealed that any prequels would include more of the competition itself, adding: "The one thing that kids say they missed [from the early Hunger Games films] was there were no arenas. If we went backwards, there obviously would be arenas."
The final instalment of The Hunger Games, Mockingjay - Part Two, was released into cinemas last month and is available to pre-order on DVD and Blu-Ray on the right-hand side of the page.
