Long-awaited Enchanted sequel gets a title
The long-awaited sequel to family adventure Enchanted seems to be finally working towards production and has a title, according to new reports.
According to Collider, the movie now has Anne Fletcher, best known for her work behind the camera on The Proposal and Hot Pursuit, attached to direct and a new title, Disenchanted.
The movie, which starred Amy Adams, James Marsden and Patrick Dempsey, told the story of a fairy tale princess, who is prepared to be wed, but is then cruelly sent away to New York by an evil queen and forced to fend for herself.
Despite grossing over $340 million at the box office and landing a series of Oscar nominations, a sequel has proved a long-time coming, with development dating right back to 2010. Hopefully these new developments mean the sequel is finally gaining momentum.
