Mad Men's John Slattery, Michael Peña and rapper TI join the cast of Marvel's Ant-Man
Mad Men star John Slattery, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña and rapper TI have all joined the cast of Marvel's new comic book thriller Ant-Man.
Slattery, who stars as Roger Sterling in the long-running drama, has joined the cast, as has Peña, who has just wrapped on Brad Pitt's new war drama Fury.
Production on the film, which is now being directed by Bring It On director Peyton Reed after the departure of Edgar Wright, has now begun in San Francisco, with Abby Ryder Fortson, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris and Gregg Turkington also joining the project's cast.
Paul Rudd will star as the film's title character, with Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly and Corey Stoll also cast in key roles.
The delays that resulted from Wright's departure earlier this year have already meant that Patrick Wilson, Kevin Weisman and Matt Gerald were also forced to exit the project.
Ant-Man is due for release in next July next year.
