Man of Steel sequel goes into active development
Warner Brothers have pushed a sequel to Man Of Steel into active development.
Despite the movie, which was released in the summer of 2013, taking over $660 million at the box office, no sequel has been developed in the years in between with the company instead focused on the wider DC cinematic universe.
According to The Wrap, it is only in the last few days that focus has moved on to a sequel. The report also states that it is unlikely to arrive before 2018 at the earliest.
Henry Cavill, who made his debut as Superman in the movie, will next be seen in Justice League, which brings together Ben Affleck's Batman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher's Cyborg, Ezra Miller's The Flash and Jason Momoa's Aquaman as they unite for the first time.
