Marvel announces nine more movies for 2020, 2021 and 2022

Marvel Studios has announced the release date for nine more movies in 2020, 2021 and 2022. 

Currently, the only Marvel movie confirmed to hit cinemas in 2020 is the third instalment of Guardians Of The Galaxy, which will take one of the slots in 2020. The others remain unknown, their release dates are now confirmed. 

The as yet announced films are split evenly between 2020, 2021 and 2022. The first batch will arrive in cinemas on May 1st, July 21st and November 6th in 2020, with the second lot coming on May 7th, July 30th and November 5th in 2021, while the final batch will come on February 18th, May 6th and July 29th in 2022. 

Likely to take some of these slots are a sequel to Black Panther and Doctor Strange, while a third Ant-Man movie will also be in contention. 

The next instalment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be Avengers: Infinity War, which arrives at the end of April, with its sequel out a year later.
