Marvel's Kevin Feige confirms there will be a new Avengers line-up after Age of Ultron
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has said that there will be a new Avengers line-up at the end of Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
Feige, who has direct control of the Marvel cinemetic universe, has told fans that they can expect the assembled gang of superheroes to look very different at the age of next year's blockbuster.
Feige told Buzzfeed: "The Avengers films, ideally, in the grand plan are always big, giant linchpins. It's like as it was in publishing, when each of the characters would go on their own adventures and then occasionally team up for a big, 12-issue mega-event. Then they would go back into their own comics, and be changed from whatever that event was. I envision the same thing occurring after this movie, because the [Avengers] roster is altered by the finale of this film."
Last week, the first trailer for Avengers: Age Of Ultron was unveiled, scroll down and click to watch it.
The preview, which is two minutes and 17 seconds in length, shows a number of explosive action set pieces and promises that the sequel will have a dark, brooding tone.
We also get our first glimpse of villain Ultron, played by The Blacklist star James Spader, and a more detailed look at newcomers Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, played by Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson respectively.
Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L Jackson and Cobie Smulders will all reprise their roles in the sequel.
Avengers: Age Of Ultron is due to be released into UK cinemas on April 24th next year, with the US release coming a week later.
