Michael B. Jordan in line to direct Creed III
Michael B. Jordan is set to direct the third instalment of Creed.
Deadline reports that Jordan is weighing up an offer to direct the third film in the series.
If Jordan accepts the offer, it would be his directorial debut, as well as his third turn as Adonis Creed.
Creed followed the travails of Creed, the son of Rocky's great rival Apollo Creed, as he builds a career in the ring and tries to move out of his father's shadow.
The film was released in 2015 and was a box office hit, with a sequel following in 2018.
Zach Baylin, who wrote the script for King Richard, the new biopic of Richard Williams, has been tasked with providing the script for the new movie.
Speculation has linked boxer Deontay Wilder with a role in the new movie, but that has yet to move beyond a rumour.
