Michael Fassbender starts talks to play Steve Jobs in new biopic
Michael Fassbender is in talks to take the role of Steve Jobs in the much-discussed new biopic, according to reports.
Christian Bale had looked set to take the roe, but it was revealed yesterday (November 4th) that he had exited the project after deciding the role was not right for him.
Now, according to The Wrap, early talks have begun with Fassbender about taking the part.
Seth Rogen had been thought to be in line to play Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, with Jessica Chastain also linked with a high-profile role.
The new biopic will be directed by Danny Boyle, from a screenplay by Sorkin. Bale was the second high-profile actor to drop out of the role, after Leonardo DiCaprio broke off talks to play Jobs earlier this year.
There has been one biopic of Jobs already released, simply titled Jobs, it starred Ashton Kutcher and was released in 2013.
