Nashville and Sin City star Powers Boothe dies aged 68
Powers Boothe, star of Sin City, Nashville and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, has died.
Boothe, who was 68, died yesterday (May 14th) in his sleep, his publicist confirmed to Variety.
The actor enjoyed a long and prosperous career, which included winning an Emmy for lead actor in a limited series or special for playing infamous cult leader Jim Jones in Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones.
He also starred in long-running dramas Deadwood, 24 and Hatfields & McCoys as well as taking on small roles in hit movies like Red Dawn and Tombstone.
