New Cloverfield spin-off God Particle delayed until April

God Particle, the next movie to be released in the Cloverfield series, has been delayed.

The movie, which is still shrouded in secrecy, with no trailer or poster released, was due to hit cinemas on February 2nd, but has now been delayed until April 20th.

God Particle stars David Oyelowo, Elizabeth Debicki, Daniel Brühl, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Chris O'Dowd, with Julius Onah directing.

The film is set onboard a space station, where, after a scientific experiment involving a particle accelerator has unexpected results, the astronauts find themselves isolated.

Following their horrible discovery, the space station crew all face a fight for survival.

The film is the follow-up to 2016's hit 10 Cloverfield Lane, the second in the franchise, which you can check out here in hmv's online store.
