New directors confirmed for The Flash stand-alone movie

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have become the latest directors to sign up to direct DC's new big-screen adaptation of The Flash

According to Variety, Daley and Goldstein, who are currently putting the finishing touches to new comedy Game Night, will become the third directorial appointment on the project, which looks set to be titled Flashpoint.

Previously both Seth Grahame-Smith and Rick Famuyiwa, who was previously behind the camera on indie hit Dope, had been in the director's chair, but quit the project before a scene could be shot.

Presently confirmed to star alongside Ezra Miller in the movie will be Kiersey Clemons and Billy Crudup.

Miller made his full debut as The Flash in Justice League, which brought together Flash, Ben Affleck's Batman, Henry Cavill's Superman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher's Cyborg and Jason Momoa's Aquaman as they united for the first time.

Justice League is available to pre-order now from hmv's online store, including on Blu-Ray Steelbook exclusive to hmv, here.
