New release dates for Alien: Covenant and The Predator announced
20th Century Fox have announced brand new release dates for both Alien: Covenant and The Predator.
Ridley Scott's follow-up to Prometheus will be released into cinemas on August 4th in 2017, the same day as Pitch Perfect 3 is due to hit screens.
Alien: Covenant will star a returning Michael Fassbender as well as the newly announced Katherine Waterson, Damian McBride, Demian Bichir, Jussie Smollett, Amy Seimetz, Carmen Ejogo, Callie Hernandez, Alex England and Billy Crudup.
Shane Black's new take on The Predator meanwhile will be released into cinemas on March 2nd in 2018, putting it currently up against Ezra Miller's solo debut as The Flash for DC.
The film is the fourth in the series of Predator movies, or sixth if you count the two Alien vs Predator movies, and will follow on Nimrod Antal's 2010 reboot Predators.
Tim Burton's new adventure Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiars also has a new release date. It was due out in December this year, but Fox have now brought it forward to September 30th.
