Nicholas Hoult to star in Renfield, new movie focused on Dracula's henchman
Nicholas Hoult will lead a new horror movie focused around Dracula's henchman, Renfield.
According to Deadline, the film, which will simply be titled Renfield, will be set in the present day rather than a period piece.
Chris McKay, director of The Tomorrow War, will take charge. The movie is based on an original story outline from Robert Kirkman, with a script from Ryan Ridley.
In the original Dracula novel, R.M. Renfield was an inmate at a lunatic asylum who was thought to be suffering from delusions but actually is a servant of Dracula.
Full details of the movie have yet to be announced.
Hoult's next project is The Menu, a comedy-horror in which he will star alongside Anya Taylor-Joy and Ralph Fiennes.
