Nick Frost and Kim Cattrall to star in Horrible Histories movie
Horrible Histories, the hugely successful book series and TV show, is to be brought to the big screen.
According to Deadline, the series, which puts a comic spin on historical events for children, is now heading for cinemas.
The series' most successful book Rotten Romans is being adapted and is currently being filmed in the UK and Bulgaria.
Game Of Thrones' Sebastian Croft will star with Nick Frost, Submarine's Craig Roberts and Kim Cattrall also in key roles.
The story will follow Croft's Ati, a Roman teenager with brains but very little brawn who is always coming up with clever schemes.
When one of those schemes falls foul of Emperor Nero, he is forced to join the army and is sent to a miserable, cold, wet Britain.
Kate Nash, Derek Jacobi, Alexander Armstrong, Lee Mack, Warwick Davis, Lucy Montgomery, Kevin Bishop and Chris Addison also have supporting roles.
Dominic Brigstocke, director of the TV version of the series, will make his feature directorial debut.
The movie will be released into UK cinemas on July 26th in 2019.
