Nicolas Cage to team up with Borat director for new Osama Bin Laden spoof comedy
Nicolas Cage has signed up to star in new comedy Army Of One, which tells the story of a man who goes on a one-man hunt to find Osama Bin Laden.
The film will focus on the real-life adventures of Gary Faulkner, a construction worker who took it upon himself to find Bin Laden, including trying to sneak into Pakistan and Afghanistan numerous times.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Cage will play Faulkner, who came to worldwide attention after he was the subject of a lengthy article in GQ in 2010, the article is the basis for the film.
Larry Charles, who has been behind the camera on The Dictator and Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, will direct the film, which will begin shooting in March and is predicted to be in cinemas before the end of the year.
Cage's latest movie Dying Of The Light was released into cinemas earlier this month.
