Orlando Bloom in talks to return for Pirates Of The Caribbean 5
Orlando Bloom has revealed that he has held talks with producers about a return to the Pirates Of The Caribbeanfranchise.
The Lord Of The Rings star appeared in the first three films in the series, but did not return for 2011's On Stranger Tides.
However, speaking to IGN, he said he may well return for the next instalment, saying: "I'm not entirely sure that [I'll be back] just yet but there are talks. Basically they want to reboot the whole franchise, I think, and do something with me and the relationship with my son."
He continued: "I'm of course Davey Jones now, so I'm down the bottom of the ocean. It might be kind of fun to do something where I'm rumbling round the bottom of the ocean, because I won't look anything like me. Get all gnarly."
Production on the fifth film in the series, which is to be titled Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, is set to begin in February of next year, with Johnny Depp returning to lead as Captain Jack Sparrow.
The filming will take place in Queensland after producers Disney agreed a deal with the Australian government, who agreed to put just under $20 million towards the film.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is due to be released on July 7th, 2017.
