Oscar Isaac stars in action-packed new trailer for Marvel's Moon Knight
Disney have unveiled the first official trailer for upcoming Marvel series Moon Knight, offering a chaotic first look at Oscar Isaac in the starring role. Watch the trailer below...
Based on the character who first began appearing in Marvel comics in 1975, Moon Knight stars Isaac in the role of the titular hero and his alter-ego Marc Spector - although as you'll begin to see as the plot of the series reveals himself, Marc also has several other alter-egos too.
In the comics, former CIA agent-turned-mercenary Spector suffers from disassociative identity disorder, as the various aliases he uses become split personalities in their own right.
By the look of things, though, Marc isn't the first of these personalities that we'll be meeting in the new series. In the synopsis it is explained that Isaac first appears as Steven Grant, "a mild-mannered gift-shop employee" who "becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life." Steven learns of his his disorder and soon finds that Marc's former enemies are hot on his tail, thrusting him into a bizarre and chaotic adventure involving Egyptian gods.
Also starring Ethan Hawke, Gaspard Ulliel and May Calamawy, Moon Knight is due to debut on Disney+ on March 30.
