Production on Maze Runner: The Death Cure to resume in February 2017, movie delayed to 2018
Production on the third instalment of The Maze Runner will resume in February next year.
The movie, which is titled Maze Runner: The Death Cure, has suffered a troubled production after Dylan O'Brien suffered a number of serious facial injuries while filming.
O'Brien (pictured above in the centre), who starred as Thomas in both The Maze Runner and its sequel Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, was hurt during filming back in March.
According to Deadline, O'Brien has recovered from his injuries, but due to clashing schedules with some of the cast and crew, production will now not resume until February of 2017.
Maze Runner: The Death Cure is due to hit cinemas in February 2017, but producers 20th Century Fox had already confirmed that the movie will now be released into cinemas in January in 2018.
