Production on The Batman, Jurassic World: Dominion and more shut down due to coronavirus concerns
Production on The Batman and Jurassic World: Dominion are among the films to suspend production amid the outbreak of coronavirus.
The Batman, which is currently shooting in various cities across the UK, has closed down for an initial two-week period.
In a statement, Warner Brothers said: "Warner Bros. Pictures feature production of The Batman will be on a two-week hiatus starting today. The studio will continue to monitor the situation closely."
The same situation has occurred for Jurassic World: Dominion, which had begun shooting in London at the end of February. Production on that has been postponed indefinitely.
Universal Pictures has also shut down Ice Cube's new boxing drama Flint Strong and a new comedy led by Billy Eichner.
Marvel has also shuttered production on new epic Shang-Chi. That decision came after director Destin Daniel Cretton was asked by a doctor to self-isolate.
