Quentin Tarantino has confirmed that his next film will be The Hateful Eight
Celebrated director Quentin Tarantino has confirmed that his next film will be The Hateful Eight.
Speaking over the weekend at San Diego's Comic-Con, where he was promoting the release of a comic book inspired by his hit movie Django Unchained, the director confirmed that he is now working on The Hateful Eight.
Asked by a fan about the project, he replied: "Yes, we are going to be doing The Hateful Eight. All for you. We weren't sure about it, but I just decided just now."
Earlier this year, Tarantino had stopped work on the project, which is thought to be a Spaghetti Western, after a copy of the script was leaked online. He had previously held a full table-read with Bruce Dern, Kurt Russell, Amber Tamblyn, Michael Madsen, Walton Goggins, Tim Roth and Samuel L. Jackson all present.
The Hateful Eight will be Tarantino's follow-up to 2013's Django Unchained, which was named hmv's film of 2013 last year.
